Hot-Desking is a term for the way of working in an organization or company without strict time frames and locations. The leading element is the work-output and not presence at a location.
What is Hot-Desking?
Employees are literally given space. Space to start early or later, space to find a workplace that fits to the actual work and space to work from home. The result? Less stressed employees, that are able to work at self chosen hours, structurally benefiting many aspects of your company.
Side effects
There are some side effects to Hot-Desking. Searching for colleagues or workplaces can be time consuming and the individual focus is not by definition stimulating social cohesion amongst employees.
